Description
The main scope of EQUO is design, develop and test mature QKD nodes with high TRL level (8-9) with cutting-edge technology developed in Europe, ready for integration in telecommunication networks, both for metro and long-distance scenario. This scope will be reached through a number of key objectives. EQUO will be preparing the industrialization and deployment of the Euro-Quantum Communications Infrastructure (Euro-QCI), essential for guaranteeing European cybersecurity. Moreover, EQUO efforts will be directed to contribute to a sustainable development of a European industrial QCI ecosystem, including SME.
